James Joyce

James Joyce was an Irish writer who left Ireland as soon as he could and, after writing a series of increasingly unfathomable books, died in Zurich in 1941. The Irish Government refused to allow the repatriation of his remains back into Ireland and proudly commemorates him today on the Irish £10 note.
